If you have fond memories of playing classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games on arcade and NES, you’ll be happy to hear that a fan-made remix is out now. Best of all, it’s totally free to download.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Rescue-Palooza, as it is called, is a Merso X project. The arcade-style beat-em-up is an “update and homage to the classic NES titles.”
The fan-made game features a cast of 60 unlockable playable characters from the television show, 17 stages, and four-player local co-op. The developers even made the effort to upgrade the graphics with more detailed sprites.
