The graphical evolution of Gran Turismo is impressive. More and more racing games are more and more faithful to reality.

Gran Turismo 7 is just around the corner folks. To increase the hype among fans of Gran Turismo and racing games, Sony today shared a teaser on Twitter showing the graphical change from the first Gran Turismo to the new Gran Turismo 7. The first game was released in ’99 on the original PlayStation.

25 years after the debut of the series and after the last game (Gran Turismo Sport) that focused mainly on the online mode, fans of the franchise are eager to try the new game. With one of the most iconic cars, the Castrol Tom’s Toyota Supra, Polyphone Digital showed us how much the graphics have improved over the years.

The team said that in the first Gran Turismo, the Supra had only 300 polygons. In comparison, the upcoming Gran Turismo 7 has over 500k polygons!
