Poisandra and Gravezord coming to Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid

In addition to Poisandra’s arrival, another major character from the franchise will soon arrive in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid.

Power Rangers fans are in for a surprise today. Publisher nWay revealed that Poisandra, the fourth season’s next character, will join Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid on November 16, but she won’t be alone…

The dangerous Poisandra

If you had to characterize danger and sweetness in the same line, perhaps Poisandra would be the greatest choice. In this fourth season, the mythological figure from the Power Rangers franchise makes her debut as a playable character in the game.

The deadly Poisandra crushes her opponents with booby-trapped chocolates and a multi-hit heart-shaped spear. Poisandra and her equally ancient spouse Sledge may have contributed to the demise of the dinosaurs, although not being genuinely evil.

They have, however, crossed paths with the Rangers countless times as merciless mercenaries. When things become rough, Poisandra may even rely on Sledge for a reprieve or to launch a team coup.

The devastating Gravezord

Poisandra is accompanied today by none other than Gravezord. This character, who originally appeared in Saban’s Go Go Power Rangers #9 comic book, was fashioned from the shattered remains of injured and broken Zords from the World of No Coins. Gravezord wreaks havoc when unleashed with his sword attacks and energy blasts.

Unlike Poisandra, who is included in the $14.99 Season 4 pass but can also be purchased separately, Gravezord will be introduced to the game’s roster of selectable characters for free.

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid is now available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Google Play, and PC through Steam. It’s backward compatible on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Poisandra and Gavezord will be available on November 16, 2021.
