Pokémon Go July Community Day features Gastly
Gastly is featured as part of July’s Pokémon Go Community Day event, which is scheduled for Sunday, July 19 from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Gastly was the runner-up in May’s fan poll. According to Niantic, Gastly will appear more frequently in the wild, and trainers will have a chance to catch a Shiny Gastly.
There will also be a special July Community Day Box available for purchase. It features 30 Ultra Balls, an Elite Fast TM, two Incense, and two Super Incubators.

- Evolve Haunter (the evolved form of Gastly) during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Gengar that knows Shadow Punch.

Bonuses
- Eggs will require 1/4 Hatch Distance when placed in Incubators during the event period. Please note that this bonus will not stack with other active Hatch Distance bonuses.
