Pokémon Snap added to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack just added Pokémon Snap to its slowly-growing Nintendo 64 collection of games on the Switch console.

Originally released in 1999, Pokémon Snap is a first-person photography game for the N64. It is a spin-off of the massively popular franchise that started as humble role-playing games for the Game Boy. Of course, Pokemon exploded into an entertainment giant that remains a potent force to this day.

Despite its relative obscurity, Pokémon Snap remained a fan favorite and cult classic. Nintendo revived the long-dormant spinoff in 2020 with the release of New Pokémon Snap on the Switch. So fans looking to play the original game on the Switch can now do so as well.

Pokémon Snap is available now for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers. In addition to the benefits of Nintendo Switch Online, the Expansion Pack also gives you access to a selection of Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games. Nintendo Switch Online costs $20 per year while the inclusion of the Expansion Pack brings the total to $50.
