Developer Purple Tree Studio and publisher Zordix announced today that Ponpu will feature both local and online multiplayer. The game is currently scheduled to release this fall on Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, PS4, and Xbox One.
In the newly-announced online multiplayer mode, up to four players anywhere in the world can duke it out across three frenetic modes. They include Coin Chase, Color Fight, and old-fashioned team deathmatch. Meanwhile, the single-player campaign features 10 different challenging worlds with gigantic bosses to battle.
A demo for Ponpu is planned in the near future so gamers can experience the game themselves. It is featured during the Steam Game Festival from June 16 until June 22. Once it is live, you will find the free demo on the game’s Steam page.
