Prepare for a Japanese battle in the new Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege event

Rainbow Six Siege Rengoku

The new Rengoku event will bring a mix of classic Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege gameplay with elements of Japanese culture.

Rengoku, a new limited-time event for Rainbow Six Siege players, was announced today by Ubisoft. Rengoku adds a new control area game style that features distinct Kiba loadouts and short respawns, resulting in a fast-paced, action-packed event.

This new event Rengoku, based on a Japanese mountain, reveals a temple in the sky and a conflict for eternity, in which the Operators are spirit-possessed Samurai warriors battling for the honor of the gods on an updated Skyscraper map.

Lots of action and Japanese culture in the new limited time event

Rainbow Six Siege Rengoku

Rengoku presents us to a rather unusual 5v5 control mode. To score control points or steal control points from the other team, players must remain unchallenged near the altars for five seconds. The match is won by the first team to attain 300 points. Of course, the control locations will move every two minutes.

Operators will be armed with shotguns, pistols, and a one-shot explosive Kiba. Twitch, Capito, Zofia, Kapkan, Bandit, and Maestro may pick between a fire or poison Kiba, while Fuze, Osa, Rook, and Thunderbird can choose between a recoil or strike Kiba to unleash the ultimate havoc.

This new event has gameplay that differs from what most of us are used to. Nonetheless, Ubisoft promises that we will love every bit of the game. Not only with the new gameplay, but also with the new skins and Rengoku Collection packs that we will be able to earn by either playing or spending 300 R6 Credits.

The Rengoku event is accessible for free in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege starting tomorrow.
