PS3 on Track to Ship 2 Million by End of Year

Sony’s next-generation console, the PlayStation 3, posted horrible launch numbers with an estimated 195,000 units sold in its first 2 weeks on the market in the United States. Despite this, “Sony said there is no need to change its targets for worldwide shipments of its PlayStation 3 game console. The Japanese electronics giant still expects 2 million units of the new video game console to ship by the end of December and 6 million by the end of March,” Reuters reports.
