QuakeCon at Home 2021 returns August 19

QuakeCon 2021 at Home

The QuakeCon community will gather online once more to play and celebrate their favorite games while raising funds to do good in the world. QuakeCon at Home 2021 is scheduled from August 19 to 21.

This year’s QuakeCon at Home will include livestreams with updates on existing and upcoming games, tournaments, charity fundraising, puppies (why not?), giveaways, and more.

The multi-day event will feature special influencer streams, Bethesda’s own Community teams from around the world, developer appearances, and game updates – all while raising money for charity. The QuakeCon Staff will also be creating a slate of exclusive content for the community. Expect information on the full schedule in the coming weeks.

Charity fundraising

Fundraising for charities is still an important part of QuakeCon. The QuakeCon family has had a significant impact on local, national, and international organizations. The development team is excited to keep the momentum going this year.

All the virtual QuakeCon attendees will be able to donate to organizations such as Asian Americans Advancing Justice (AAJC), NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, The Trevor Project, and UNICEF directly from the official QuakeCon Twitch stream.

Animal charity t-shirt

The annual animal charity tee-shirts have also returned. This time there are sweatshirts as well. All profits from the sale of these shirts will be split equally between QuakeCon’s long-time Dallas-based animal adoption partner, Dallas Pets Alive. It also supports Four Paws, a global animal welfare organization.

The QuakeCon team went to the depths of DOOM Eternal’s hell this year to secure the design for the exclusive cute and chubby “Pugcubus” tee alongside the exclusive “Catloop” tee. Get this year’s tees here!
