Earlier this week, the National Football League and Mythical Games announced the NFT-based play-to-earn game NFL Rivals. It sounds a bit like fantasy football as you’ll play as a general manager against other GMs.

NFTs are short for non-fungible tokens. You’ve probably heard of them but might not know what they are. So what are NFTs? Basically, they’re unique digital assets – everything from artwork to music. In the gaming space, it usually refers to in-game items. In NFL Rivals, players will collect players as NFTs.
