Rage 2: Rise of the Ghost expansion out now

Rage 2‘s first expansion, Rise of the Ghosts, is out today for PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

Rise of the Ghosts is available on all platforms, downloadable from the in-game store for $15. Players who own the Rage 2 Deluxe Edition automatically gain access to the DLC for free.

“The sadistic Ghosts have made their way back to the wasteland under the leadership of a mysterious new villain, Iris. Spreading their nanotrite-infused influence while attempting to lead the world into a so-called brighter dawn, the Ghosts are a crazy force to be reckoned with,” according to publisher Bethesda.

In the new expansion, players will get to explore a brand-new region, face a lethal new faction, and gain access to a new weapon and ability. You can see some of the new content from Rise of the Ghosts in the trailer below!

Rage 2 was released earlier this year. It has received mixed reviews from critics, averaging a 70 out of 100 on review aggregator OpenCritic.
