Ubisoft has announced several major new features in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.

Today, Ubisoft revealed Operation Solar Raid, the final season of Rainbow Six Siege‘s Year 7. The new season includes a ton of new features including crossplay, cross-progression, an improved battle pass, a new map, and a new operator. Read on to learn more about Rainbow Six Siege crossplay.

Rainbow Six Siege is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The next-gen version launched in 2020. Here’s what fans can expect from the new content.

Rainbow Six Siege crossplay and cross-progression

Year 7 Season 4 brings exciting new updates to Rainbow Six Siege: crossplay and cross-progression. Console players can squad up with friends from other consoles via Ubisoft Connect. Players who wish to opt out of crossplay can turn off Crossplay Matchmaking in the Options menu. After logging into their Ubisoft Connect accounts, players’ progress, currencies, and items will be shared across all platforms. Additionally, their Ubisoft Connect account will get one free Alpha Pack.

NieR Collaboration

In addition, Ubisoft announced a NieR collaboration with Square Enix. It features skins inspired by NieR: Automata and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139. The collaboration comes to the store today.

Ubisoft is partnering with Square Enix to create skins inspired by the NieR series for Rainbow Six Siege. An Elite set inspired by 2B from NieR: Automata for Iana and a bundle for Maverick inspired by the Protagonist from NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.
