Rainbow Six Siege is free to play this weekend

Rainbow Six Siege

If you’ve somehow yet to try out Rainbow Six Siege, Ubisoft is having a free play weekend on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

Players will be able to play for free from March 5 until March 8, depending on the platform. According to Ubisoft, the free play weekend will grant immediate access to all of the game’s maps, modes, and operators.

First released in 2015, the Rainbow Six Siege community is 55 million players strong across all three platforms. However, the game does not currently support crossplay between these platforms, so that’s a bummer.

The good news is that those who participate in the weekend will get to carry over their progression and acquired in-game content. If you decide to purchase the game after the free weekend, you can continue to play uninterrupted.

Lastly, now live on the Test Server is the upcoming Operation Void Edge. It introduces a new Attacker and a new Defender, Iana and Oryx from the Netherlands and Jordan. The map Oregon has also been entirely reworked with a new look and improved navigation and flow.
