Rainbow Six Siege welcomes Demon Veil, the first season of Year 7

Demon Veil

Play with Azami now as the new Emerald Plains map arrives.

The first season of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege is now available on PC, consoles, and subscription services, according to Ubisoft. Demon Veil is the name given to the current season, which includes the addition of the new Japanese operator Azami, a Team Deathmatch game option, and a new map later in the season, as well as other game changes.

Azami, new game mode, and new map

The new Defender, Azami, is a good match for Demon Veil. Her throwable canisters, which are equipped with the game-changing Kiba Barrier device, discharge an expandable material that solidifies into a bulletproof surface, allowing her to instantly repair holes in walls and floors, giving her a more mobile and varied defensive approach.

In addition, this new season introduces Team Deathmatch, a new game mode designed to test the ideal atmosphere for players to warm up before competitive matches and to provide a more leisurely gaming experience within Rainbow Six Siege. Team Deathmatch is a permanent feature to Rainbow Six Siege and will serve as an excellent introduction to Operators for new players.

Emerald Plains is the first new map introduced to Rainbow Six Siege in 3 years, if that wasn’t enough. Players will be able to explore this terrain based in Ireland soon after the season begins, but we’ll have to wait while Azami and I play some Team Deathmatch games.

Demon Veil is now available in Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, which you can play on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox X|S Series, and PC. It is also available on Xbox Game Pass, Ubisoft+, Amazon Luna, and Stadia. The game is free to play for a week starting on March 17.
