Insomniac Games is celebrating the Ratchet & Clank 20th anniversary with new DLC and classic games on PlayStation Plus.
Can you believe that the original Ratchet & Clank came out twenty years ago? I certainly can’t; I remember playing what was at the time a genuinely unique and entertaining take on platformers. They were some of the best platformers of the PlayStation 2 generation – indeed, of the 3D era.
Well, Insomniac Games is marking the occasion in style. Literally, you can wear stylish new armor as part of the 20th Anniversary Armor Pack. The new Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart DLC is completely free and available via a game update.
The pack includes five armors that draw inspiration from the franchise’s history:
- Commando Armor (Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando)
- Holoflux Armor (Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time)
- Quest Armor (Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty)
- Marauder Armor (Ratchet: Deadlocked)
- Clank Armor for Ratchet to look like Clank
