Redout 2 delayed until July on Nintendo Switch

Redout 2

Nintendo Switch owners will have to wait another month for Redout 2.

The sequel to the futuristic anti-gravitational driving title Redout is about to launch on June 16 for PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.

However, the game is getting a slight delay on the Nintendo Switch. That version is now not expected to come out until July 2022. So it’s not a huge wait, but it is getting pushed back a second time. The first delay was announced in May.

The developers explained the decision on Twitter:

Switch players – the game needs a little more polish time. We’re working to get the Switch version out in July, and we’ll have an updated release date for you as soon as we can!

The sequel to the sci-fi racing game is a tribute to classic racers like F-Zero and WipeOut, combining lightning-fast speed, excitement, and action with breathtaking sights and sounds. As we’ve previously reported, players can compete in both career and competitive multiplayer modes.

We’ll let you know if we hear anything more!
