What you might not have known is that Sonic was voiced by Jaleel White, who is best known for his acting role as Steve Urkel in the sitcom Family Matters. It’s not something that you probably would have ever guessed just watching the cartoon. White provided voice acting for three separate Sonic the Hedgehog animated series in the 90s: Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Sonic Underground.
