Bug it, my friend!

It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a remake that was as much fun as Resident Evil 4 Remake is being. I have friends who are already finishing their second run on the game. But, let’s be very honest: There are many fights that are so slow or difficult that some players get bored. Or, even worse, many of them get stuck in this kind of fights.

Although bugs are frowned upon by many, there are other players who take advantage of them. Above all, all those players who do not have a high level of gameplay or speedrun fanatics. Therefore, it was only a matter of time before players found bugs to speed up their games.

A YouTube user named Blerk_Dergan, found a bug in Resident Evil 4 Remake that has opened up a world for all speedrunners. It turns out that the challenging first encounter with the Garrador, which occurs at one point in Chapter 7, can be avoided altogether. Doing so appears to be simple as you can see in the attached video, and that’s because the game has a glitch that allows players to not only avoid this fight, but many other sections of Salazar’s Castle.

The trick is to turn your back to a closed door, equip a sniper rifle and make a 180-degree turn while looking through your scope. As you can see, thanks to this trick it is possible to get through doors and avoid entire sections of the adventure. However, it is only a matter of time before they fix this bug. In the meantime, bug it my friend!
