Capcom announced on Tuesday that Resident Evil 6 will be coming nearly two months earlier than previously expected. The release date has been moved up from November 20 to October 2. Mark your calendars now!

The producer of Resident Evil 6, Hiroyuki Kobayashi, confirmed that the game will not be coming to Wii U – at least for now. “Unfortunately, RE6 will not be available at this time on the Wii U. Right now we’re concentrating on the PlayStation 3 version, 360 version and the PC version of the game.”
