Resident Evil Dead by Daylight collaboration launches June 15

Dead By Daylight

Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine are joining Dead by Daylight‘s cast. We’ll have to flee Raccoon City’s police station while Nemesis is on the loose.

Dead by Daylight has announced a unique collaboration chapter with Capcom’s Resident Evil universe to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Resident Evil franchise. The content will be available worldwide on June 15th, as announced in a tweet commemorating Dead by Daylight‘s fifth anniversary. Similarly, PlayStation made mention of this collaboration via its official PlayStation Blog.

A combination that matches perfectly

The collaboration allows players to assume the role of Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine when they are submerged once more in Raccoon City’s nightmare. The players will also have the option of enlisting Nemesis to hunt down other users, while the layout of the police station will also be included in this content. Players who purchase this episode will receive an Umbrella charm for free.

Each character will arrive with three advantages that we may use to win the games: Flashbang, one of Leon’s features, allows players to create a whole new element. Once Leon has reached a certain point in the repair process for the generators, he will be able to hide in a locker and craft a flash grenade, which he will then be able to use to temporarily disrupt or kill the Assassin.

That is not all though. For the first time in Dead by Daylight, the Assassin has the assistance of enemies controlled by the AI. In this case – and it could not be any other way – we encounter hordes of zombies who pose a threat to the players. As a result, it is preferable that the survivors devise new strategies for escaping and escaping with their lives.

On the other hand, players can explore a new map: Raccoon City’s police station, a now-defunct building of what was once a courthouse and one of the city’s most mysterious locations.

Price

We’d like to remind you that the Resident Evil episode will be available for $11.99. Dead by Daylight is now available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, and Google Stadia.
