Rico London is a co-op shooter coming to PS4 and Switch in December, Xbox in 2022

Rico London

The sequel to Ground Shatter’s stylish, cel-shaded, rogue-like buddy cop shooter will arrive in America in December for PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

Rico London, a game from Aksys Games, will be published in North America in December. The plan is to release the game for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch initially, followed by the Xbox One version in 2022.

An explosive co-op shooter

In Rico London, you play as a cop entrusted with bringing down the city’s infamous and deadly gangs. In this homage to vintage arcade shooters, you may play single or with a teammate in co-op mode, and navigate through a number of randomly generated stages to eliminate the gang menace that is spreading throughout the city. Many of the levels are set in abandoned buildings in East London, such as disused hospitals and office spaces, the majority of which have been taken over by gangs.

At the conclusion of each level, players can improve their characters with a random selection of goods, and you can further enhance your upgrades with effects to make them more powerful.

The creators concentrated on the parts of gameplay that were most popular in the original for this version, resulting in more enemy variations and ambient settings compared to the previous game, as well as hostage situations and additional weaponry to increase the tension.

Rico London is already available just in the EU on PC and consoles. This news is for the North American release.
