If you’ve wanted to try the latest hero shooter, Rocket Arena, this weekend is a good time to check it out. It’s free to play this weekend only on PC and Xbox One.
PC gamers can play it on either EA’s own Origin service or Steam. The free weekend is available now until Monday, August 3 at 1 PM Eastern on PC. Meanwhile, Xbox One gamers have until August 3 at 2:59 AM.
If you haven’t heard of it, Rocket Arena just launched this month. It is a new crossplay hero arena shooter where players and teams master the art of the rocket. The game features regular seasonal events with free content, including new heroes, maps, and in-game events.
Season One just kicked off with a new character, Flux, plus over 10 new playlists. There’s more content on the immediate horizon, too. The plans call for a new season with content drops about every three months. So you can expect Season Two sometimes this fall and Season Three in early 2021.
