Saga Frontier Remastered announced

Saga Frontier Remastered

Square Enix has just announced Saga Frontier Remastered. The game was revealed during a recent livestream for the popular mobile RPG Romancing Saga Reuniverse.

Saga Frontier was originally released on the original PlayStation in 1997 in Japan. The game came to the West in 1998. The remaster is part of an ongoing Saga Project from Square Enix. So far, the project has included Western releases of Romancing Saga 3,  Saga Scarlet Grace: Ambitions, and Romancing Saga Reuniverse.

Renowned industry veteran Akitoshi Kawazu is overseeing Saga Frontier Remastered. Square Enix says that the game features “a host of exciting new improvements and additions.” Expect remastered graphics, new story content bringing in Fuse as a main playable character, and new character events for Asellus. Plus, the ‘Glimmer’ ability gives characters new ways to learn skills and attacks.
