Saints Row Reboot Review Roundup

The Saints Row reboot launches tomorrow on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Saints Row is back with its insane gameplay, pop culture references, humor, and violent action. While the premise behind the game was unique back in 2006, has it gotten stale?

Chris Carter with Destructoid had a more positive take: “The campaign likely isn’t going to strike a chord with a lot of people, but the muck-about nature of the world map kept me playing longer than I expected. A sequel that leads into its biggest strengths has a lot of potential.”

The reboot currently has a 66 out of 100 on OpenCritic with only 44 percent of critics recommending the game. We’ll continue to see more reviews stream in this week as the game officially launches, but this is an early sample of what critics are writing.

Saints Row officially launches on August 23, 2022.
