Fans everywhere have been eagerly awaiting this retail release, which comes with a CD full of bonus extras and a full-sized printed poster featuring artwork by Sam and Max creator Steve Purcell.
Over the last two decades, Sam and Max have gained immense popularity in a number of formats, from independent comics to a popular graphic adventure game, a Saturday morning cartoon, and most recently, Telltale Games’ downloadable episodic series, Sam and Max Season One. These episodes have now been collected into a single retail product, making Sam and Max Season One the equivalent of a television series’ DVD “box set” – a first in episodic gaming. Starting next week, the game will appear in North American stores including Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Target, Circuit City, and Comp USA.
