Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time launches today on PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and Apple Arcade.
Adult Swim Games and developer Soleil Games partnered with Samurai Jack creator Genndy Tartakovsky to make the new video game. The series’ head writer, Darrick Bachman, wrote the game’s script.
As we’ve previously mentioned, the game is set immediately before Samurai Jack’s ultimate confrontation with his arch-nemesis Aku. Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time is the great stoic hero’s untold final adventure.
Battle Through Time mixes combat, stylized 3D art design, and the series’ renowned blend of humor and drama. It should appeal to both long-time series fans and fans of action games.
The game is also available on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV and Mac through Apple Arcade, Apple’s game subscription service. Apple Arcade subscribers get the full version of the game including all updates and expansions, without any ads or additional in-game purchases.
