Satirical platformer Ghosts ‘n DJs will be free, features deadmau5 soundtrack

Are you a fan of the classic Ghosts ‘n Goblins? Indie studio Dr. Kucho Games is bringing a satirical run-and-gun sidescrolling platformer called Ghosts ‘n DJs to Steam next month.

Drawing inspiration from the classic arcade hit, Ghosts ‘n DJs is “set in a parallel universe in which the music scene is being dominated by fake artists and DJs.”

Players will help Dr. Kucho on his crusade for the love of music. He’ll be equipped with the legendary deadmau5 mask to defeat evil creatures with colorful names. You’ll encounter Devil Goata, Paul Douchebag, Paris Sheraton, Steve Karaoki, and Pete Bullshit.

The Ghosts ‘n DJs soundtrack features three tracks from deadmau5: “Polaris,” “4Ware,” and “GG.” The game will be available for free on PC via Steam. It launches on February 6.
