Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II meets the great outdoors.
The seventh mission in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II campaign is called Cartel Protection. It takes place in Las Almas, Mexico. Early in the mission, you start in a small town. Playing as Soap, you and your men retreat as the cartel-backed army pushes you away into the mountains.
This level features a pretty spectacular mountainous environment. It reminds me a lot of Yosemite National Park in California. Even as you are being chased, it’s hard not to stop and admire the view. This is one of the most beautiful single-player levels in the entire game.
Aside from the mountains, you will old pine trees, waterfalls, and a river that meanders through a valley. It’s a spectacular sight that looks fantastic on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X. We can only imagine how good future COD games are going to look once PC and next-gen consoles are the only platforms.
