Second Outriders broadcast dives into game’s powers, combat, environments
Square Enix has announced that the second Outriders broadcast is set for this coming Thursday.
The broadcast gives players a glimpse of an “epic journey” into a “dark and desperate” world. Players learn about the powers and combat that await them in the upcoming role-playing shooter.
Entitled “Beyond the Frontier,” the second broadcast also features new environments. Developers break down the structure of the game and present a deeper look at the Pyromancer class.
Outriders comes from People Can Fly. They are the same developers behind Gears of War: Judgment and Bulletstorm. The game is coming to PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X this holiday season.

My Take
Without E3 this year, Square Enix and other publishers are going direct to consumers with these types of broadcasts. And, frankly, it has been nice to see the news spread out over all of June instead of bunched together at the start of the month. Going forward, I hope they continue this format.
