Today marks the 20th anniversary for the Sega Genesis in North America. Released on August 14, 1989, the system went on to sell nearly 30 million systems worldwide. The Genesis brought us Sonic the Hedgehog, Earthworm Jim and other classics in the 16 bit generation.
