Sega shows off Genesis Mini titles in new trailer

Sega has released a new trailer highlighting some of the games included in the upcoming release of the Genesis Mini throwback console, which launches next month, just in time for the classic 16-bit system’s 30th anniversary in North America.

The miniature system – which is similar to Nintendo’s NES and SNES Classic systems, as well as Sony’s PlayStation Classic – will include 42 classic titles, including Altered BeastGunstar Heroes, and Sonic the Hedgehog.

As we previously noted, the Genesis Mini is based on the design of the original Sega Genesis first released in North America in 1989. The Mini is 55% smaller. The miniature console comes bundled with two regular-sized controllers (the three-button variety), an HDMI cable, and a power cord.
