Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun Aiko’s Choice expansion coming soon

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun Aiko’s Choice

Aiko’s Choice continues the narrative of the popular squad of assassins from Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.

Daedalic Entertainment and developer Mimimi Games have announced the release date for Aiko’s Choice, a standalone expansion to Mimimi Games’ critically acclaimed real-time tactics game Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun.

Discover the past of the adept kunoichi, Aiko

Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun – Aiko’s Choice focuses on one of the main game’s characters, Aiko, a kunoichi expert. She is a master of disguise and distracts adversaries while dressed as a geisha.

While Aiko thought she had left her old life behind, her previous sensei, the clever spymaster Lady Chiyo, comes from the shadows to test her. She goes off with her pals, a crew of lethal assassins, to hunt down the ghosts of her past.

This new expansion includes three full-fledged main missions set in entirely new environments, as well as three shorter interlude missions. You take control of a team of lethal specialists, move in the shadows, and sneak past dozens of enemies, just like in the main game. When entering concealed woodland encampments or vibrant Edo-period cities, choose your approach carefully.

Plan your movements carefully, devise your own inventive techniques to defeat foes, and finish each of the difficult tasks to learn more about Aiko’s background. On the 5th anniversary of the original game’s release, players will be transported to Edo, Japan’s ancient capital, to experience the thrilling exploits of the kunoichi adept Aiko.

The standalone expansion, Aiko’s Choice, is coming out on December 6 for PC and Mac via Steam.
