Atlus has revealed the cover art and physical pre-order date for Shin Megami Tensei V on Nintendo Switch.

As many of you already know, the company published a lengthy playthrough of the next Japanese role-playing game – which will be released on November 12, 2021 – following this week’s Nintendo Direct event.

The gameplay was shown during Nintendo Treehouse, where the company’s public relations competed in several of the displayed titles. One of these was the previously stated role-playing game, which was displayed in over 20 minutes of gameplay from the Japanese version.

So what’s new?

If you’re familiar with the Atlus story, the video won’t contain any serious surprises or essential information, but it will assist novices to comprehend the series’ core principles. One of the most noticeable modifications in this release is that the opponents roam about the area, giving the protagonist the opportunity to stop conflicts or leave before the enemies arrive.

To begin combat, the person assigned to the hands must approach the demons with a sword and strike them. The battles are controlled by the established norms of the tale. Each round provides a variety of actions, but by attacking the enemy with elemental damage, that action is not wasted; of course, opponents may also use this.

Pre-orders

Shin Megami Tensei V is coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 12. Atlus and Nintendo of America have announced that the game will be available for physical pre-order beginning on June 21 at 9 a.m. PT/12 p.m. ET. They also revealed the cover art, which you can check out below!
