Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune gets bonus content on PC and Switch

Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate

Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate is getting bonus dungeons and added features in an upcoming port.

Originally released on Nintendo DS, the game was later brought to PlayStation Vita. The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate is the fifth entry into the mainline Shiren the Wanderer series. The series is known for its beautiful retro-style graphics and classic roguelike gameplay.

Now the PC and Nintendo Switch versions are getting new content, too. Aside from new dungeons, the new features include a music collection to listen to tunes at any time. There’s also a new live display. It’s a UI option designed for live streaming. It displays your status, items, equipment, abilities, gameplay time, and turns spent in the dungeon.

Lastly, the wanderer rescue system lets you request help from other players when you collapse in a dungeon. The ranking system tracks top dungeon scores and rescue attempts. This time around, the system connects all adventurers around the world, regardless of language or region settings. Plus, there is an option to filter these features with player language settings.

Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate launches on December 2 for PC and Nintendo Switch.
