Skate City will soon ride to PC and consoles

Skate City

A good skateboarding video game does not require you to be a skateboarder. Skate City looks like it can be appreciated whether you are a real-life skater or not.

Skate City was previously released on Apple Arcade. It comes from Agens and Snowman, and it will soon be available on all platforms. Several teasers for the game – which is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch – can be found on YouTube.

Skate City allows us to ride three iconic locations based on real-world skate spots in Los Angeles, Oslo, and Barcelona. Players will skate like the pros and perform real tricks with ease. There are hundreds of combinations available, including flip tricks, grabs, grinds, spins, and manuals.

Furthermore, with an original soundtrack of atmospheric lo-fi beats, you can complete over 100 challenges in Skate City or relax and ride at your own pace with Endless Skate. You can personalize your skater in the skate shop by purchasing a new deck, trucks, wheels, shoes, hats, goggles, and clothing. You can also change your hairstyle and skin tone, as well as unlock new moves and skills.

The game’s final version is coming on May 6, 2021.

My Take

This looks like it is friendlier for casual players than something like Skater XL.
