CI Games today announced Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2. The game is coming out in fall 2020 on unspecified platforms.
In the first Contracts, the CI team placed players in open-ended sandboxes designed to be a sniper’s paradise. The game has you play as an assassin for hire It received mixed reviews. It is currently averaging a 68 out of 100 on OpenCritic.
Building on the first game, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is set in modern-day. Details are scarce at this point, but the team has set up the game’s official website.
CI Games says that more game details will be revealed in the coming months. In the meantime, you can follow the game’s development team on Facebook and Twitter.
My Take
No platforms have been confirmed as of yet. However, we’ll probably see this get released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Those are the same platforms as the last game. It wouldn’t be too surprising, though, if it also makes a next-gen debut on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
