Sonic Classic Collection Rolling to Nintendo DS in 2010

Sega has announced that, for the first time ever, the original games from legendary gaming icon Sonic the Hedgehog will be coming to the Nintendo DS. Available in early 2010, Sonic Classic Collection gathers together the first four Sonic The Hedgehog adventures – Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 3 and Sonic and Knuckles – introducing some of the most influential Sonic the Hedgehog titles to a whole new generation of DS gamers.

Sonic Classic Collection allows fans old and new to speed through the much loved zones of the four original Genesis adventures, in a bid to collect the Chaos Emeralds and save the world. Sonic Classic Collection will offer a new save feature, a first for Sonic the Hedgehog and Sonic The Hedgehog 2, as well as a video recounting the history of Sonic offering gamers an in-depth look at the speedy hedgehog.
