Sonic the Hedgehog is coming to Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout will soon have a spiky new crossover character. Sega’s iconic Sonic the Hedgehog is coming to the game.

As they tend to do, developer Mediatonic announced the news on Twitter with a series of tweets and a Twitch livestream. The announcement even came complete with some homemade Sonic costumes.

Sonic the Hedgehog is available for purchase in-game starting on October 14. The new costume celebrates Season 2 of the game and the 60th anniversary of Sega. The costume will set you back 10 crowns.

Mediatonic is obviously trying to keep the battle royale party game fresh after it quickly became the most downloaded PS Plus game. Meanwhile, Steam sales have topped 7 million.

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is available now on PC via Steam and PlayStation 4.
