Sony reveals PS5 box art for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales

Sony has shown off the cover art for the upcoming PS5 launch title Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales.

First revealed during the company’s Future of Gaming event, we’ve since learned that Miles Morales is a standalone game, not an expansion. The game reportedly makes use of the PS5 SSD to fast-travel players across New York City in the blink of an eye.

We also previously learned that Insomniac is developing the game. They plan to build and expand on the PS4 hit Marvel’s Spider-Man, although now developers have the full power of PS5 to work with. It’s one of two games Insomniac is developing for PS5 (the other is Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart).

My Take

This is our first look at PS5 box art. It looks quite similar to PS4, although the blue stripe has been replaced with a white stripe. The PlayStation logo and PS5 are black both on the front and on the spine.

As for the box design of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, it looks fairly subdued. There’s not a lot going on here. However, the Spider-Man suit does look pretty sweet! Hopefully, this follow-up will prove to be just as good as the first one. And knowing Insomniac, it probably will be.
