The Zelda-inspired 2D action-adventure game Sparklite is out today on PC, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One.
Sparklite is an action-adventure set in the whimsical and ever-changing land of Geodia. You’ll play as the game’s fearless herione, Ada, battling foes in top-down action using an arsenal of gadgets, guns, and gear.
As with any good Zelda-inspired action-adventure game, you’ll need to use your wits to solve puzzles. The game also features a variety of different bosses and enemies. However, unlike Legend of Zelda games, this is set in a procedurally-generated world.
Sparklite comes to us from indie developer Red Blue Games. The studio is based out of Durham, North Carolina. Twin brothers, Edward and Lucas Rowe, founded the company in 2013. The publisher is Merge Games.
The game is available digitally for $24.99 at the PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, Steam, and Microsoft Store. For the first week, there will be a 15% discount for early adopters. A physical edition will be released tomorrow for $29.99.
