The first major update to Spellbreak launches today.
Chapter 1: The Spellstorm introduces free, story-driven quests into the core gameplay. In addition to the new update, Spellbreak launches today on Steam, indie studio Proletariat announced. The Steam version features the exclusive Hinterland outfit
Chapter 1 also features new cosmetic items as well as an enhanced chapter progression system with reputation bonuses featuring 50 levels of rewards, gold, and more. All told, players can take part in 12 weeks of quests, meeting three new NPC characters along the way.
Spellbreak is a free-to-play action battle royale with spellcasting. It came out in September on PC via Epic Games Store, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. The game supports cross-progression and crossplay.
