THQ Nordic and Handy Games announced today that SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is coming to mobile devices.
Battle for Bikini Bottom was originally released on the PS2, Xbox, and GameCube back in 2003. Rehydrated launched on PC and consoles in 2020. The mobile version is coming to iOS and Android as a premium title.
The game lets you play as some of your favorite characters from the SpongeBob universe: SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy. However, it sounds like the mobile version does not feature the console version’s co-op multiplayer.

“In the mobile version, the controls have been meticulously optimized for devices with touch screens, with a controller also available,” Handy Games says.
Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated is available now for pre-order on the Apple App Store. You can also pre-register on Google Play. The mobile version retails for $9.99.
