Star Wars: Squadrons was just announced earlier this week. And now the game is available for pre-order at a lower than expected price.
Pre-orders for the game recently opened. The Amazon product page lists the game as launching on October 2, 2020 for $39.99. That’s instead of the normal $59.99 price for most games from major publishers.
As we mentioned on Monday, the game lets you take control of everything from an X-wing to a TIE fighter in 5 versus 5 online multiplayer dog fights. In addition, it also has a single-player campaign. So maybe I’ll get a chance to relive some classic Star Wars: Rogue Squadron moments.

Star Wars: Squadrons is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Origin, Steam, and Epic Games Store. There are not any plans for a Nintendo Switch version. The game will also have support for VR on PS4 and PC.
