State of Decay 2: Homecoming announced at Xbox Gamescom conference

State of Decay 2: Homecoming

State of Decay 2: Homecoming is bringing back the map of the original game.

Undead Labs revealed the next free DLC for State of Decay 2 in any of its editions during the Xbox stream event at Gamescom 2021. It is the Homecoming addition that will deliver a remastered version of the original State of Decay‘s Trumbull Valley map on Wednesday, September 1.

It will not be a straightforward remastering of the map. In addition to significant modifications in its zones to represent the progression of the zombie virus in the sequel, the new area includes new people and narratives that open up new tales while closing others that were not yet closed. Homecoming will have six bases, as well as new weaponry, costumes, quests, and accomplishments.
