Capcom revealed the release date for the upcoming Street Fighter V during the Sony press conference at Paris Games Week. Street Fighter V hits store shelves in North America and Europe on February 16, 2016.
Capcom also confirmed the appearance of Dhalsim, who first made his appearance in Street Fighter 2. Other long-time fan favorites confirmed for the game include Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and M. Bison, among others.
Also during the conference, new details were shared regarding post launch support. Six new characters will be added to the title throughout 2016, bringing the total roster up from 16 at launch to 22 by the end of the year. Gameplay content, costumes, new challenges and balance system updates will also be made available.
Street Fighter V has so far only been confirmed for PC and PS4.
