Studio Ghibli Fest 2023 lineup announced

For the first time in North America, Spirited Away: Live On Stage is coming to the big screen!

Whenever we think of animation, Disney, Dreamworks, Illumination, and other American studios come to mind. But, from Japan, there is an exponent that with every animation it has made, has completely changed this part of the industry: Studio Ghibli.

And, thanks to GKids and Fanthom Events, we can enjoy the best works created by Hayao Miyazaki. So, today it has been announced that the Studio Ghibli Fest is back! It’s coming to theaters once again and it will be the biggest edition yet The full line-up and dates have been revealed. For the first time in North America, there will be screenings of Spirited Away: Live On Stage.

Don’t miss the Studio Ghibli Fest 2023!

One of the world’s greatest exponents of animation is Studio Ghibli. Hayao Miyazaki’s works have transcended the Japanese market and touched every viewer’s heart. And, here in the American market, more and more people are becoming acquainted with these wonderful visual works. Much of this work has been thanks to GKids and Fathom Events.

These two companies dedicated to the industry have once again brought the Studio Ghibli Fest to America. This festival seeks to celebrate the great work done by Miyazaki during his career. Therefore, they have got a line-up of different works that everyone will be able to enjoy in theaters.

A big line-up of amazing animations

In addition to the screening of Spirited Away: Live On Stage, Studio Ghibli Fest 2023 will feature 10 more films by Miyazaki. The line-up will celebrate milestones such as the 35th anniversary of My Neighbor Totoro, the 15th anniversary of Ponyo, and the 10th anniversary of The Wind Rises. Therefore, the line-up of animations that this festival will have are:
