Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League from Rocksteady and set in the DC Comics universe will arrive in 2022 on PC and consoles. Fans just got a first glimpse at the game’s story in a new trailer.

During the DC Fandome this past weekend, Warner Bros. and Rocksteady released a new trailer for their next game in partnership with Rocksteady. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be Rocksteady’s next major release following Batman: Arkham Knight (2015).

Be the ‘hero’ and defeat Brainiac

In this cooperative action-adventure game, players control a group of villains – the infamous Task Force X of Amanda Waller, also known as the Suicide Squad, formed by Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang and King Shark. They combat Brainiac, who has invaded Earth and has brainwashed the Justice League, and will face enemies as strong as Superman, Green Lantern, and Flash. The game is narratively a continuation of the Batman: Arkham saga.

The action will take place in a huge open environment set in Metropolis, and gameplay will combine different types based on the talents of the protagonists, who will each have unique powers. It will allow for solo play, but the emphasis will be on cooperative play among team members.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be published in 2022 for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
