The announcement has been made through the Twitter account of Summer Game Fest, where they mention the starting day of the festival. Most importantly, they say the lineup of partners that will be part of it. We can see companies like EA, Activision, and Sony – who are all skipping E3 2021. They apparently will only be part of the Summer Game Fest.

The first of these takes place on June 10, with a live show hosted by Geoff Keighley, during which we will see a variety of announcements with worldwide exclusives. One of the big surprises in the Kick Off Live event is an appearance by the band Weezer, among other surprises.
