Super Mario Maker 2 tops 10 million playable courses as upload limit increases

Nintendo announced on Twitter that its popular Switch title Super Mario Maker 2 has seen users create over 10 million playable courses.

The follow-up to the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U side-scrolling platformer and game creation toolset was released in June 2019 on the Switch. The sequel sold just shy of 4 million copies as of October 2019, making it one of the top-selling games on the Switch.

“To celebrate, you can now upload up to 100 courses to Course World!” Nintendo said in its tweet announcing the milestone. This is just the most recent increase in the level upload cap.
