Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival bringing drum fun to Nintendo Switch

Get ready for some epic drum beating with Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival.

You may have heard about the music-based game Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival, which took Xbox players by storm when it came to Game Pass a few months ago. Now Bandai Namco has confirmed that the game is coming to Nintendo Switch.

This surprisingly entertaining rhythm game features over 75 different songs that you can play in Taiko Mode. There’s also a Story Mode where you can go on a journey to become a Drum Master as well as both online battles and couch co-op.

TAIKO NO TATSUJIN Rhythm Festival

Although this particular music game series has been around since 2001, it is clearly geared toward the Japanese market with cutesy graphics and a host of songs from popular anime franchises. Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is the first title in the series to offer the Taiko Music Pass. It gives players access to a catalog of more than 500 songs along with monthly updates adding new songs.

Taiko No Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival is coming to Nintendo Switch on September 23, 2022. Pre-orders for the game are now available for the Standard Edition and the Taiko No Tatsujin Drum Controller.
